I am sick and tired of hearing the Obama campaign talk about how if you do not make more than $250,ooo you will not see 1 penny of tax increase. This includes small businesses. Joe Biden during the vice-presidential debate said, "95% of small businesses make less than $250,000 per year." Hogwash!!!
Think about that. That means a business that is open 5 days a week, 50 weeks out of the year (let's say they are closed on holidays) can make no more than $1000/day. Can a business survive on that? Ain't no way! If they have any payroll, any overhead, and still pay their normal taxes, they would have to make much more than that to exist.
I own a very small business (I have been in business for 12 years now) with 3 paid employees and I make over that $250,000 benchmark and am still squeaking by. Lets raise my taxes from 34% (which is what they are now) to 62% as proposed by Obama and I am out of business. I would have to double all my prices and fees and still maintain the same amount of clients just to exist at the level I am today. Everyone knows when you raise prices you lose at least some customers who cannot afford it. Doubling prices would lose more than "some". This year alone I have already paid over $70,000 in taxes alone (and I still have 1 more quarter to pay). If that is increased to over $127,000, I am out of business.
And it is not just me, it every small business everywhere. Look at where you shop and eat and think about them if their taxes go up. Are they still going to be there next year at this time? What happens to their employees when they lose their jobs? Sure the huge corporations will survive, but they will have to downsize their workforce as well as increase prices. That's more unemployment with higher cost of living. Combine that with the current economic situation and you do have the makings for another Great Depression or government takeover of all aspects of the economy--socialism at best, communism at worst. Will we all be better off then?
For me, if nothing else, I will vote against Obama to keep my business going and to help keep other small businesses as well as this country alive.

Obama a Nazi?
Is Barrack Obama a Nazi? sounds ridiculous at first, but lets delve into what a Nazi really is.
First of all, Nazi is the shortened form of the word Nationalsozialistische which means National Socialist. Obama has been preaching national socialism. The nation needs to help everyone by implementing new socialist programs including health care, welfare, and the taking over of the debt of corporations, banks, & homeowners thus moving us closer to a socialist (if not communist) state.
Hitler wrote Mein Kampf before attaining any political power. Obama wrote Dreams From My Father before becoming a senator. Both came seemingly from nowhere but on the virtue of their speech making, were able to attain power.
Hitler came to power at a time when the nation was in a great financial crisis (the Great Depression)--the U.S. now finds itself in a similar situation.
The value of the German mark had decreased in value--the U.S. dollar has done the same and is even worth less than the Canadian dollar.
The Nazi party started out as the Workers Party with Hitler claiming to be in favor of the average German and supporting them. He blamed the establishment in power for the all the problems Germany was having and vowed to change it--Obama makes these same claims today--just look at his "Change" propaganda.
Hitler proclaimed a strong central government and claimed to defend Germany against outside subversives. Obama is proclaiming a stronger centralized government and is proclaiming to defend the U.S. against Islamist radicals.
Hitler blamed the Jews, for the economic problems as well. Obama is blaming radical Muslims for where we are today. Hitler went so far as to try an exterminate the Jews--Obama has not said that he will defend Israel in case of an attack-even nuclear-without clearance from the United Nations Security Council, thereby ensuring that Israel will have to defend herself and probably be destroyed by all the nations that oppose her (check the transcript of the last debate with John McCain from Tuesday 7 Oct 2008)
Hitler used race-baiting for his rise to power. Obama is also using race tactics to assume power.
Once Hitler took power, he suspended civil liberties and stripped power from the German states. He then set himself up as the sole power over Germany and look what happened from there.
The Constitution under George W. Bush has been significantly reduced in power after 9-11 and a lot of civil liberties we Americans used to enjoy have been replaced. Imagine a new President with aspirations of total control, suspending the Constitution totally--we will be no better off than the Germans were from 1933-1945.
Think about it. Also think about this. Hitler despised the Catholic church and actually took the occult into his heart and into his rule of Germany. Many people thought Hitler was the Antichrist (except the Germans of course). While Obama my not be the Antichrist, he is surely an antichrist as he claims to be Christian but then says there are more ways to heaven than through Jesus.

Affirmative Action in the Democratic Party
If you take a person who is less qualified for a position and put them in that position ahead of a more qualified applicant because of their skin color, that is Affirmative Action.
That is exactly what happened in the Democratic Party. Hillary was much more qualified to be the candidate (and President) than Obama, but because Obama is half black, he gets the nod. Now they are pushing Affirmative Action for the White House when he clearly has no qualifications at this time for the job (maybe in 8-10 years, but not now). The worst part about it is that in his commercials run here in North Carolina, he talks about how his grandmother (the same one he threw under the bus when he was in the midst of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright affair), was passed over for jobs she was more qualified for than her male counterparts who got the positions and now he is doing the same thing as those other "men." He jumped ahead of the more qualified Hillary because he is 1/2 black and/or a man.

Obama-McCain Debate #1
Here is my take on the debate last night. I noticed 3 things.
Obama at one point called John McCain, "Tom"-did anybody else pick up on this. He then corrected himself and said "John" but that was too late. What if McCain had called Barrack "Tom"? We would never hear the end of it because it would infer that McCain would be racist and referring to Obama as "Uncle Tom" from Uncle Tom's Cabin.
McCain reeled off name after name of hard to pronounce world leaders, countries, and cities. Obama only used 2 names of foreign dignitaries the entire night-Putin & I believe the Georgian president (I could be wrong on this 1 name). Obama had to read the name off his bracelet of who the soldier was he represented. McCain showed that even though he is older, he still has a grasp of what's out there. Obama couldn't even remember the name of John McCain-what if he did that while meeting with a foreign dignitary and called him the wrong name?
When they were pinned down on how the current financial crisis would alter their plans at this time. John McCain said he would implement a spending freeze on the government except for defense, veterans affairs, and necessary departments. Obama said he would still spend, spend, spend. Everyone knows if you don't have the money, you don't spend it. You tighten up and spend on what is absolutely necessary. Basic economics for running a household or a government.
That's the main things I got out of it. I/m sure the press saw their golden boy Obama as the clear winner.

Our Tax Dollars At Work?
With the big financial crisis looming over our heads and country about to go into a recession/depression if something is not done fast, shouldn't all of our leaders be in Washington, DC to work this thing out? After all, isn't that what we are paying them to do? If we were being paid to handle management decisions and a crisis arose, wouldn't our bosses expect us to do the same? If we didn't, we would be fired. So why is Obama still out campaigning when this is one of the biggest decisions to face our nation since the Great Depression? Because McCain beat him to it. By suspending his campaign and calling for Obama to do the same, McCain beat him to the punch. If he goes to Washington & suspends his campaign, he will look like a follower. If he stays away he looks like he is putting his campaign ahead of the country. It's called politicking, and Obama is the best at it. He still wants the debate about foreign policy to on as scheduled tomorrow night even though the country may fail. What he needs to do is get his butt to D.C. and work this thing out. That's what he being paid to do. Now is his chance to come up with some great bill that will not only stabilize the country, but bring it back to greatness. He has the unique opportunity to show us the "change" he can make as President. The problem is that he realizes this and can't come up with "The Great Compromise" because he has never had to do it in the past. He gets in and gets out before anything bad can happen and people find out just what type of leader he is. He did the same thing in Chicago, Illinois, and now the Senate. Get in and move up as quickly as possible. He has used the war effort as a platform for bringing our soldiers home because too many are dying in Iraq. Well Mr. Obama, more Americans have died on the streets of Chicago this year than in all of Iraq (compare 1 US city to a whole nation). Has he done anything about that situation? No, and he is not willing to do anything now.

More Obama Thoughts & Rumors
Have you heard the latest rumor about Obama's campaign? I do not know if it is true or not-only time will tell. Here it is:
After the vice-presidential debate (around Oct 5), the Obama campaign will announce that for health reasons (aneurysm?), Biden will have to step down. He will be replaced by Clinton. This will ensure Obama winning in November.
For some reason, the Obama campaign is very afraid of Palin. I've never seen anything like it. They hack her personal e-mail, post everything including pictures, phone numbers, and contacts all over the web, then complain she is "hiding something" when she closes that e-mail account down. What are they so afraid of? It may be the fact that she is more like one of us than any of them. She is a working mom with 5 kids, one disabled child, a pregnant teenage daughter, PTA member, and is involved in school, and community affairs. She did not attend an Ivy League school nor is she a lawyer. Does this sound like most of us? I can relate better to her than any of the others. And, she does not take crap off of anyone.
Did you know that as the editor of the Harvard newspaper, Obama never contributed an editorial or article to any issue?
Did you know that in the last 20 years Obama has been one of the top 5 recipients of money donated by Lehman Brothers?
Did you know that 2 former CEO's of Fannie Mae are economic advisers to Obama-Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson?
Did you know that Rep. Rahm Emanuel who supports Obama was on the Board of Directors of Freddie Mac?
Did you know that one of Obama's top economic gurus is the head of Citigroup Corporation which deals in Treasury Securities and whose largest shareholder is Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia and that in July of 2008, Citigroup posted a $2.5 billion loss?
Remember the "Change we can believe in" banners that Obama's campaign has put out? What change is he talking about? He has never identified it and people are reading all sorts of issues into it-from changing the irresponsible government system to changing the world. My wife seems to have hit the nail on the head when she says that all he actually means is a change from a Republican President to a Democratic one. Nothing more, nothing less. Yet he lets all of his followers derive any meaning from it they want, as long as they support him.
Since Obama and Democrats took over Congress with promises of responsibility and change, they have done absolutely nothing. What will happen if Obama and a Democratic Congress are in place in Washington at the same time? More nothing? Or something worse. New socialist programs combined with the bailouts/buyouts=higher taxes. With all the government bailouts occurring, the U.S. now owns private companies as well as personal property (those mortgages beholding to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG and others). This is the road to socialism and communism. Remember the words of Thomas Jefferson:
"There is scarcely a king (or would-be-king) in a hundred who would not, if he could, follow the example of pharaoh--get first all the peoples money, then all their lands, and then make them and all their children slaves forever."

Who-bama?
With all the stands, associations and changes Senator Obama has made in the last 17 months, here are some suggestions for name changes:
Mao-bama: His recent praise of China and their infrastructure and demeaning attitude toward the U.S. leads us to this. he wants the U.S. to be more like China. He doesn't realize (or maybe he does) that the type of building projects in China are due to slave labor. Anyone can accomplish this if you don't have to worry about the laborers.
Bow-bama: This comes from his ability to pat himself on the back while taking a bow for accomplishing absolutely nothing. What major legislation has he passed since becoming a U.S. Senator?
Woe-bama: His speeches talk about how horrible a place the U.S. is and that our woes are so bad that we need him as President so that we can have a future. He talks about hope, but says there is no hope for the citizens unless he can govern every aspect of our lives. Is that what we want? More government control of our lives?
Blow-bama: Talks a good talk but has no actions to support it. Like any "blow hard" person.
Bro-bama: wants everyone to think he is 100% black, yet had a white mother and was raised by white grandparents. Does the black population of America really think that he is one of them?
Dough-bama: Always looking for the "bread". Wants you to give him more money for his campaign when he has raised more than any candidate ever has and will still want more of your money when he becomes President to pay for "his" projects. He first said that he would only take the government financial for his presidential campaign, then reneged on hat after he saw how much money he was taking in. This is changing politics? Remember, he IS A LAWYER!!!
Glow-bama: Has an aura about him that makes everyone believe he is the chosen one. When asked specific questions or when confronted, he just smiles, gives a nod and lets his aura take over.
Low-bama: His campaign tactics of attacking families and outing Sarah Palin's daughter are about as low as you can get. His campaign has been all about sexism and putting down women.
Owe-bama: If you look at the special interest groups that have donated to his campaign, you realize he owes alot of political payments back to these people, and we, the American taxpayer, will be owing alot of money to finance all these projects as well as his socialized government programs.
Know-bama: the more we know about Obama, the less we like what we see. That's why he doesn't want the people of the United States of America to know who he truly is or what exactly he stands for. The bait-and-switch of politics.
Snow-bama: See Blow-bama. Snow jobs are his specialty.
U.F.O-bama: Unidentified Fooling Obama--no one knows who he is, what he stands for, or what he is actually going to do. Appears to have the ability to experiment on Americans to find out what they are willing to believe.
Quid pro quo-bama: Substituting a new face for the same old same old. Politics as usual.
Domino-bama: The idea that if he sets up everything just as he wants it, and not as it truly is, everything will fall into place.
Cyano-bama: Talks til he is blue in the face, but actually says nothing.
Hypno-bama: the ability to subdue the public with words into believing anything and doing anything he wants.
Icono-bama: Someone we all should worship.
Immuno-bama: Is immune from any attacks and facts. Takes the place of teflon coating, as the immunity is longer lasting and allows him to fight back.

Techno-bama: Uses technology and the internet effectively to create lies and distort the truth not only about his opponents, but also about his own record.
Soprano-bama: Mob-style tactics to accomplish what he wants. Silence your enemies anyway possible.
