In the presence of today's primary in Pennsylvania and preceeding the one here in North Carolina on May 6, I have to turn my attention again to Obama. The Charlotte Observer (which should be renamed the Charlotte Obama-server which, by the way, refused to print my letter to the editor exposing Obama's ties to Islam) reports today that there will be no debate in NC and that it was decided by the DNC because it is too late to schedule one. All this because Obama refused to debate Hillary who had already agreed to it. After the last debate in which he was finally asked some tough questions and his answers were not golden or platinum, I don't blame him. However, if he is trying to show that hes is substance and not all talk, then he should put forth his actions and not his words in a debate. Rather, he likes to have his words scripted and handed to the people under controlled situations and not "off the cuff."
In one of my previous blogs I mentioned Obama's ad campaign here in NC (which is on the radio at this very moment!) about big oil and what he would do to fix it. I got to thinking about this, and if he really wants to show the people he can get things done, why doesn't he go back to Washinton right now and introduce a bill to do just that. The last time I looked he was still being paid by "we the people" to do a job-not to campaign. Why doesn't he do that job now and show us what he can do before gas reaches $4.00/gallon? Why? Because he can't. And if he can't get the job done as a Senator (who are supposed to introduce legislation and pass laws--not the President!), then he surely won't accomplish this as President.
So, Mr. Obama, where's the beef?
