Illegal Immigration
Is there something there that I am missing. Doesn't "illegal" mean "against the law?" Then why are the politicians pandering to people who are breaking the law AND are not allowed to vote? Someone explain this one to me--PLEASE! It seems to me that the biggest threat to our security would be these undocumented people who are crossing the border with who knows what--diseases, weapons, terrorist ties, etc. Lets spend more money on our security at home and quit throwing it away in Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia... people say that the illegals only work jobs that Americans don't want. How do they know? Get rid of the illegals and if no one wants to work those jobs, make the people on welfare work them--make them EARN their welfare checks! By geeting rid of these illegals, it will also take alot of burden off our health system, school system, and tax system which most do not pay into. Stop it now!!!

Bloggettes
Here are some random snippets I call "Bloggettes" from this week. I may expand on these later or I might not. Doesn't matter!:
Britney Spears: Ovariohysterectomize & lobotomize her then isolate her, her family and her papparazzi from the general public & media forever!
Political media: Either gloss over everyone's records or attack everyone the same, but stop playing favorites. You will not be perceived by the informed public as racist for going after Obama's voting record!!!
Weathermen (especially in Charlotte, NC): Look outside your windows and step into the actual weather before making a forecast. I can look outside and predict the weather over the next 12 hours better than they can with all their "high tech gadgets"!!! If you don't know what the weather is going to do, say so!!! I wish I could be as wrong as they are in my job and not only keep my job, but get promoted or raises. Also, a 2-3 degree drop in temperature is not a "cold front!"
The Oil Companies: Enough is enough. Record quarterly billion dollar profits are driving this country into the ground. Before we took over Iraq and obtained our own oil-rich country, I was paying $0.99-1.19 for a gallon of gas. Now it is over $3.00!!! Ridiculous--ship the oil adminsitration and the oil execs to Iraq where they must dig up their own oil with their bare hands, and then I will GLADLY pay the $3.00/gallon!!!
NBA: Who cares? Really. Who the h--- cares?!?!
Charlotte Politics: The "Wannabe City". All the politicians here want it to be something it's not. Give up and let it become the Queen City it is supposed to be. Lower our taxes, provide us was decent roads, services, & protection and then we will prosper. Don't force us to become another Atlanta or their might be another "burning of Atlanta" on the horizon.
Charlotte Sheriff: How does a major city picking a replacement for a retiring sheriff not have access to ALL background material on each candidate so the best one can be chosen? Choosing a person by the color of his skin and not the content of his character is still racism! A man who was a police officer who was being investigated for impropriorties, who then resigns to become a lawyer who does not show up for his clients who have paid him, and then files bankruptcy is not a person who should be in charge of law enforcement in any state!!! Lock him away before the criminals run the sheriff's department!
Washington: We are in a recession. Get over it. They refuse to use the "R" word because it will undermine consumer confidence. No, consumer confidence is already eroded, they don't want it to undermine the potential confidence of the wealthy and over seas investors. Who cares about them? This is our country and our lives! When the Canadian dollar is worth more on the exchange market than the U.S. dollar, it is time to do something drastic--like invade Canada. Maybe that will stimulate our economy--wait it didn't work with Iraq, and Canada has no oil for the cronies to gouge us with. Send the overseas investors to Canada before my children are made to work in sweat shops to send toys to China!!!
Pakistan: They are harboring Bin Laden while we are paying them billions of dollars to do it. We don't want to catch him, we need him to stimulate the terror in this country so our administration can pass anti-Bill Of Rights laws and take our freedoms as well as our country from us. They have nuclear weapons, are hiding Osama, and are getting paid to do it. Sounds like good ole USA politics to me.
"W": Anybody really think he is going to go quietly from the White House or is there maybe some plans in the works for Osama in Pakistan to make another terrorist stand on American soil around election time so that the Constitution can be suspended indefinately and Czar Bush take total control? What better way to leave a legacy than to write it yourself without any opposition or rebuttal--dead men can't rebut.
Cock Fighting: I thought cock fighting was illegal in almost every state now. Turns out I was wrong. There is a major circuit making it's rounds from state to state and almost everyone comes out to watch and place their bets. First Iowa, then New Hampshire, and Michigan, now heading to Nevada & South Carolina. What's the difference between a cock fight and the primaries and caucuses? At least in cock fight the loser is never heard from again. I say put all the candidates in a dirt ring and let them have at it--teeth, nails, & talons. The one left wins! After all isn't it the strongest candidate that we want for President any way?

South Carolina Drivers
While I know there are stupid & crazy drivers from all states, South Carolina tends to have more than their fair share. They get their licenses from the local Dairy Queen while getting a cone. They do not learn the rules of the road, proper etiquette, or even how to turn their turn signal on or off! They think the left lane is the slow lane and that going 25 MPH under the speed limit on the interstate or 25 MPH over the speed limit in the city are acceptable driving techniques. The older I get the more I seem to come across these sub-IQ idiots. The state has taken in so much radioactive, chemical, & industrial waste that the entire state should be placed on a superfund and all residents isolated from the general population. I look forward to the day when I am old with nothing left to lose so that I might buy me a tank that I may use to run these people down and crush their cars so they will not be a nusance to anyone else. When I run out of gas and are surrounded by the police, I will give up and have free room & board for the rest of my life. The Palmetto State should be renamed The Poor Motorist State! Know of worse drivers? Let me know & why.
