Well, Super Tuesday is over and we aren't any closer to knowing who is goin to win the Democratic nomination than we were on Monday. We do McCain-and-abel has increased his lead, but Huck-l-berry hound made a strong showing while Mitt-ens sort of folded. Hillary-artillery won the big states, but Obama-nation won more overall states. Looks like Michigan & Florida will need to play a role in the outcome.
I did watch some CNN news yesterday at noon and the were interviewing a professor at a college in NY that happened to be a black man. He has voted for Hillary for the senate every time she ran and said, "She is a good senator and has been good for New York." So the interviewer said, "So you voted for Hillary in the primary..." but he said no that he voted for Obama. When pressed for why he voted Obama, he hemmed & hawed and avoided answering the question, because the answer he implied was "because Obaama is black." Voting for or against someone based on the color of their skin is racist and should have nothing to do with who is going to run the country. If people are voting for Obama because he is black (and that appears to be what is happening all around the country), then that is wrong. A decision should be based on their qualifications only. Obama has not even served a full term in the Senate and has avoided voting on the big issues for over a year. That is not the leader we need at this time of recession.
