In Case You Missed It-Again

Here are the events from the last time I posted. In case you missed it:

6/6: Obama at D-Day remembrance in France. Michelle wears white.

6/6: Kennedy introduces a bill that would require employers to offer health care insurance to all employees or pay a penalty, and would require everyone to purchase insurance.

6/6: NBC reporter Brian Williams bows to Obama after finishing an interview.

6/6: 400 Pakistani villagers attack a Taliban stronghold after a mosque was bombed

6/6: Hundreds gather at funeral of abortion doctor

6/6: In radio address, Obama promises to get more involved in health care details after he said he would leave those details to Congress

6/6: Health care providers reach agreement with the White House to cut $1.7 TRILLION over next 10 years by cutting MRIs and CAT scans, cutting antibiotics, cutting C-sections, and cutting care for chronic back pain. First of health care rationing.

6/7: Lebanon votes-Hezbollah loses.

6/7: U.S. says a rocket or mortar hits the Green Zone in Baghdad

6/7: Obama considering allowing some Gitmo detainees to plead guilty

6/8: 2 Americans are convicted in North Korea and are sentenced to 12 years hard labor each

6/8: Sotomayor fractures ankle at New York airport

6/8: Lebanon election results announced with pro-western group winning

6/8: 200 mourn soldier killed in Arkansas by US islamist

6/8: Shootout in Acapulco leaves 18 bandits and 2 police officers dead

6/8: Federal government reimburses D.C. $43 MILLION for inauguration events

6/8: Judge in Connecticut says federal agents violated the Constitutional rights of 4 illegal aliens in raids and stopped their deportation. Since when did illegals gain rights under our Constitution????

6/8: GM to stop making medium-duty trucks

6/8: Obama promises to create or save 600,00 jobs over the 3 summer months. With job loss at around 350,000 per month, this would still eliminate 450,00 jobs!!! And, how does one measure jobs saved???

6/8: Supreme Court says Iraq cannot be sued for actions by Saddam

6/8: Supreme Court rejects challenge to "don't ask, don't tell."

6/8: Michelle Obama, her daughters, and her mother go to London.

6/8: CBS David Letterman attacks Governor Sara Palin and her 14 year old daughter. Calls Palin a "slutty airline stewardess" and says daughter "got knocked up by Alex Rodriguez" during the 7th inning. In spite of how you feel about Palin, this is heinous and he is also calling Alex Rodriguez a pedophile.

6/8: Newsweek Editor Evan Thomas says, "Obama is above America. He is above the world. He's sort of God."

6/9: Suicide bombers attack luxury hotel in Pakistan killing at least 5

6/9: Shiite militants in Iraq accused of killing 5 U.S. soldiers is released. Has ties to Iran and the hope is that his release will free 5 British hostages.

6/9: Atrocities in Somalia cause 100,000 to flee

6/9: Muslim convert who killed PFC William Long says the killing was justified because of U.S. military action in Mid-East

6/9: Army Corps of Engineers orders thousands of trees chopped down to protect levees in Louisiana. There are over 100,000 miles of levees in La. So much for the government's "Green Agenda"

6/9: Family of slain abortionist says clinic will close permanently

6/9: Virginia votes for Democrat in governor primary with frontrunner with ties to Clintons losing.

6/9: Explosion in Garner, NC Slim Jim plant kills at least 3

6/9: 10 banks get okay from government to repay bailout money

6/9: Chrysler dealers close. Some have been in business up to 92 years

6/9: First Gitmo detainee arrives in New York City for trial

6/9: Obama to Congress, "pay as you go"

6/9: House considers plan for $4500 vouchers for old cars to be used toward buying new cars. This will cost taxpayers $3 BILLION

6/9: In the month of May ending on May 26, 464,983 foreclosures of subprime loans occurred. This is 15% of all subprime loans. Only 19,041 were modified under Obama's rescue plan with only 11,200 reducing their monthly payment. Obama had said it would help 5 MILLION households.

6/10: Palua agrees to take 17 Chinese Muslims from Gitmo. Will cost U.S. taxpayers $200 MILLION

6/10: Car bomb in southern Iraq kills 29

6/10: Gunman kills security guard at Holocaust Museum in D.C.

6/10: Pay czar is announced by White House. Will set wages for the top 25 execs at 7 companies taking TARP money

6/11: Obama hits the campaign trail for health care

6/11: Hawaii legislature sets plans to allow native Hawaiians to start their own government

6/11: Ken Lewis of BofA testifies before Congress that he was pressured by the feds to complete Merrill Lynch buyout by Bernanke and Paulson or face firing of their entire board of directors.

6/11: Moammare Gadhafi attacks U.S. is speech in Italy and urges the the world to understand what motivates terrorists

6/11: A union official had asked for protective vests for guards at Holocaust Museum 2 years ago but never got them

6/11: China objects to Palua taking Gitmo detainees calling them "terror suspects"

6/11: WHO declares Swine Flu the first pandemic in 41 years. Is now in 74 countries with over 141 deaths.

6/11: North Korea demands fourfold pay for workers employed by South Korean companies operating in N.Korea and wants a rate increase of 31 times the current cost for rent of the sites.

6/11: California towns face off against feds in military recruiting of minors

6/11: Mayor of New Orleans, his wife, and body guard are released from quarantine in China after being held for 3 days for suspected Swine Flu. A passenger on their plane had flu-like symptoms.

6/12: NBC reports that if a new President is elected in Iran it is because of Obama's speech in Cairo

6/12: Michael Vick is released by the Atlanta Falcons

6/12: Analog TV is gone

6/12: Obama fires Inspector General Gerald Walpin of AmeriCorps. He was investigating Sacramento mayor and former NBA player Kevin Johnson's nonprofit education group which received government money for fraud including paying volunteers to engage in school board political activities, and run personal errands for KJ. KJ is a supporter of Obama. The firing violates the law that Obama sponsored as Senator requiring that he notify Congress 30 days before as to the firing and give the reasons for the firing. Obama has 30 days to give his reasons for firing Walpin to Walpin. Clear case of cronyism and protection of "nonprofits" who helped Obama (see ACORN).

6/13: Iran President is reelected. Riots ensue

6/14: Joe Biden does not "rule out" a run for President

6/14: Joe Biden says "everyone underestimated" how bad the economy was.

6/14: 3 Chinese Gitmo detainees are released in Bermuda. Interviews with the 3 show them to be in good physical shape and are happy to be in Bermuda.

6/14: CIA director attacks Cheney saying Cheney wants a terrorist attack on the U.S. Is this a distraction from CIA-Pelosi affair to turn anger back on the Bush administration?????

6/15: Iran Supreme leader Ali Khammenei asks for probe into voter fraud

6/15: General Stanley McChrystal takes command of forces in Afghanistan

6/15: Netanyahu gives into to U.S. pressure and endorses a Palestinian state

6/15: UK reports the first Swine Flu death outside of the Americas

6/15: 9 kidnapped foreigners in Yemen are reported killed. Includes a German husband and wife and their 2 children. Al Qaida is suspected.

6/15: Argentine glacier advances despite global warming.

6/15: California wants to cut lawyers for the poor.

6/15: Boy Scouts at camp in Asheville, NC are under Swine Flu quarantine with 38 affected.

6/15: Gas prices for 48th straight day

6/15: Obama calls for overhaul of financial system which will give the Federal Reserve more power.

6/15: Obama pleads for support for health care overhaul at AMA convention.

6/15: Judge allows prisoner convicted of terrorism to file lawsuit against White House attorneys for "torture"

6/15: Auto loan delinquencies up 28% in 1st quarter

6/15: Senate wants to replace current drivers license plan

6/15: Pentagon delaying release of investigation into air strike in Afghanistan last month that killed dozens of civilians

6/15: Obama lashes out as health care opponents who are calling his proposals "socialized medicine"
